Riverside, CA - After two convincing victories in Sunday's doubleheader, the Firestorm were looking to complete the weekend series in Monday's single game, but the Golden Eagles weren't about to give in without a fight.
La Sierra jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with two runs in their half of the third inning.
After a leadoff double by Jake Magness, he scored the first run of the game on a double by Michael Hinojos. Hinojos subsequently scored on a single by Adrian Gardea, for the second run.

The Firestorm answered La Sierra by scoring three runs in the fourth inning, two more runs in the fifth and five runs in each of the seventh and eighth innings.
La Sierra collected all five of their hits in the third inning while Arizona Christian finished with 15 runs on 18 hits.
