The Golden Eagles Mens Soccer team continue their community involvement by hosting a local club team for a soccer clinic. This clinic puts forth another example of how La Sierra University Student-Athletes embody the major prong of the University's statement to engage with the community, and thus help foster a sense of motivated and caring citizenship.
"It was nice to have the club team here, they want to learn so much and are really interested in getting better...It is really fun to help them out, and to give them good direction, and show them what we do here and how they can get to the next level," said Shane Shelton (
team Captain).

"We will continue to do our part to be involve in this community, I truly believe that even things like this, as small as they might be, go along way, and benefit not only the community but our players as well" coach Olivas

Make sure to join the Golden Eagles as they host their first annual Alumni game this Monday (the 16th) at 7:00pm.
