The La Sierra Women's Basketball Program is pleased to announce the signing of Sophomore transfer, Alison Moon. Alison played one season for Andrews University in Michigan, and has elected to transfer to La Sierra for the beginning of her Sophomore season. A 5'11" power forward, Alison brings a much needed inside presence to the Golden Eagles. "I couldn't be happier with the signing of Alison Moon," said Coach Thorson. "We've added another piece to the puzzle and gotten bigger inside which will complement our guard play."

In addition to her basketball skills, Alison brings a high commitment to academics, carrying a 3.2 GPA. Alison will major in Business/Marketing and is looking forward to completing her degree at La Sierra University. Alison graduated from Forest Lake Academy in Orlando, Florida, where she was a 4 year starter for the girls' basketball program.

Alison will wear jersey #20 for the Golden Eagles and will begin her La Sierra career in the fall quarter. Beginning his second year at La Sierra University, Coach Thorson is excited about his newest Golden Eagle, "Our program is growing and improving, and the addition of Alison Moon means the sky is the limit for the women's basketball team this year."
