Riverside CA: La Sierra controlled most of the match, and was able to find the back of the net four times, defeating Pacific Union College 4-0 this Sunday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles (currently ranked 24th on 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll) ) improve to 5-2-0 on the season while Pacific Union stays a 0-2. 

La Sierra out-shot PUC 35-1, The Golden Eagles got on board when Jonas Ornelas was received the ball on top of the box and was able to put it pass the Pioneers goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the game, not long after that David Nolan got a pass from Ruben Solis to put the Golden Eagles up by two before the Break.

It took the Golden Eagles three minutes into the second half to score another goal as Luis Escamilla dribbled passed 3 defenders and was able to beat the keeper, Anthony Trevino finished the scoring for the Golden Eagles.

"It was not our best performance but we were still able to find a way to score and get the win, Our defense did a good job to keep them off the score sheet, but we have to figure out a way to make the most of the chances that we create' Said Coach Olivas.

The Golden Eagles travel to Arizona next weekend for two games.
