The Golden Eagles come back with a 11-1 record after playing at the Johnson & Wales Invitational in Denver, CO. La Sierra defeated Embry-riddle, Bethany College, and Johnson & Wales.

vs. Embry-Riddle: The Golden Eagles battled to a 25-23, 25-16, 25-14, 27-25 win over Embry-Riddle in the first game of the JWU invitational. Freshman Maselina Semaia, and Junior Shelby Madigan combined for a total of 26 kills for the Golden Eagles. Junior Jessica Katz had 7 kills in 12 attacks with just one error (.500), adding four block assists. Samantha Arriaran recorded a double-double with 36 assist and 19 digs.

vs. Bethany: Junior Jessica Katz had 9 kills, freshman Maria Guerrero had 6 kills and both hit .500 as the Golden Eagles defeated Bethany College 25-16, 25-15, 25-14. Samantha Arriaran recorded her second double-double of the tournament with 27 assists and 10 digs. Bethany College had a team attack percentage of .037. Shelby Madigan added 13 kills of the Golden Eagles. Lura Lewis had a total of 17 digs.

vs. Johnson & Wales: In the final match of the J&W Invitational, The Golden Eagles showed their skills by defeating the hosting team 25-17, 25-21, 25-18. Maria Guerrero had 7 kills, Jessica Katz had 8 kills, Samantha Arriaran had 5 kills and they all hit over .580. Johnson & Wales had a total of 28 kills in 98 attempts (.000). Guerrero had 3 blocks assist; the Golden Eagles had a total of 6 team blocks. La Sierra won all 3 games at the Johnson & Wales Invitational.

The Golden Eagles have improved their record to 11-1. The Golden Eagles have a 10-game winning streak.
