The Golden Eagles struggled this Sunday afternoon as they lose to Embry Riddle by a score of 3-0.  Coming off a win against San Diego Christian where the coaching staff believes that they played one of their better games, the Golden Eagles struggled to get anything going. "It was frustrating game, we started out flat and were never able to clean stuff up, give a lot of credit to the opponent, they were able to come to our place and set the tempo of the game" Said Coach Olivas. Embry Riddle score half way through the first half and that was the score at the half.

Things did not get better for the Golden Eagles as they allowed two more goals in the second half. "We created very few options but did not manage to make the most of them, and in games like this, you have to make the most of all the chances you create" Said Olivas, "This is one of those games we have to forget and get back to the basics, doing the little stuff to get us back on the right track"

La Sierra gets back on the field this coming Thursday evening as they take on D-III Cal Tech.
