Samantha Arriaran and Nikki Cheong led the Golden Eagles as they defeated Multnomah University on the last regular season game. Not only it was the last home game of the season, but it was the night to honor our 2 seniors who have done incredible things for our volleyball program.

The Golden Eagles came into this game motivate after defeating Cal State San Marcos on Tuesday night. La Sierra beat Multnomah in 3 sets, 25-10, 25-14, and 25-5.

Samantha Arriaran recorded 34 assist and 8 set aces. Nikki Cheong added 2 set aces and 5 digs. Maria Guerrero led the offense with 12 kills with a .625 hitting percentage, she added 2 solo blocks. Abigail Lahutoi added 5 kills with a .833 hitting percentage. The Golden Eagles recorded a .468 team hitting percentage while Multnomah recorded a -.111 percentage.

Nikki Cheong recorded 163 digs during this regular season, she added 25 set aces and she played in all 74 sets. Samantha Arriaran recorded 125 kills with a .388 hitting percentage, she added 730 assists, 211 digs, 45 set aces, and 28 total blocks. Samantha had a total of 8 double-doubles this regular season.
