The Golden Eagles keep making history as they clinched a spot in the 2011 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the first time in school's history. La Sierra propels into the rankings for the first time this season at No. 25. The Golden Eagles have lost only twice in 2011 and have won six-straight matches and 19 of their last 20. La Sierra received 102 votes.
La Sierra has had an incredible season, they had a 13-game winning streak, they defeated Occidental College for the first time in history, and they beat CSUSM which could be argued as the biggest win to date for this growing program.
The Golden Eagles will travel to Phoenix, AZ for playoffs on November 10-12.
