La Sierra University Volleyball Team came from behind and defeated Mayville State in 4 sets. Mayville State won the first set 25-22 with a team hitting percentage of .292. The Golden Eagle fought back and won the next 3 sets with scores of 25-23, 25-21, and 25-15.

Jessica Katz led the Golden Eagles with a total of 16 kills in 40 attempts (.300), she added 2 set aces and 1 solo block. Samantha Arriaran added 9 kills (.444), 38 assists, and 8 digs.

Nikki Cheong and Caitlin Jaussi combined for a total of 34  digs and 44 receptions with no errors. Shelby Madigan and Maria Guerrero added 8 kills each.

The Golden Eagles will play on the first semifinal game tomorrow at 6pm.
