In game 1, La Sierra scored 2-runs in the top of the first inning as the Golden Eagles took advantage of 3-walks and 2-hits in the opening frame and it would be all the offense they would need as starting pitcher Scott Makorow pitched a complete game giving up just 6 hits and 1 run in 7 innings.

Oregon Tech's Daniel Doty pitched well but picked up the loss falling to 0-3 on the season.

In game 2, La Sierra jumped on the scoreboard early scoring 2-runs in the top of the 1st on 3-hits.

The Golden Eagles then took the lead back in the 4th scoring 2 times on 3-hits to take a 5-4 lead.

La Sierra took their final lead at 6-5 in the top of the 6th scoring 1-run on 2-hits.

Oregon Tech took the lead back for good in the bottom of the 6th scoring 3-runs on 3-hits highlighted by back to back doubles by Dylan Rogers and Zack Earle to give Tech a 8-5 lead.

La Sierra threatened in the top of the 7th but Tech's Graig Kathol picked up his 2nd save of the year coming in to get the final 2-outs to end the game.
