La Sierra University Baseball team is excited to announce the signing of
Nick Medrano. Nick is an INF\RHP\Switch Hitter from Placentia, California.
He started playing baseball with Placentia Little League when he was 5
and ever since has a passion for the game. Throughout his high school
years with El Dorado Hawks-JV, Esperanza Aztecs-V and Bell Eagles-
V, Nick played fall and summer baseball for ABD Academy. In 2012,
Nick was nominated for the ABD Jose Ortega Award and in 2011 Pre-All
American Player. "I have enjoyed playing baseball all these years. I will
continue to work 100% and do whatever it takes to have the opportunity
to play baseball. I am excited to play under the leadership of Head Coach
Gamboa and Assistant Coaches. Their experience and baseball philosophy
will guide me at the college level. I am very thankful to God, my family,
friends, ABD and high school coaches who have supported me over the
years. I look forward to being a part of La Sierra University Eagles baseball
team." said, Nick Medrano.
