The Golden Eagles women's basketball program is happy to announce that Kristen Brummett has signed a letter of intent to attend La Sierra University this coming fall. The native of Norco, CA, arrives at La Sierra with an abundance of athletic experience, having played volleyball, track, softball, and basketball during her high school years.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity to play basketball at La Sierra," said Kristen. "It's a dream come true to play at the college level. I've been so encouraged with what I've seen in the women's basketball program. I look forward to attending La Sierra, with its great campus and academics," added Brummett.

Kristen was named the All Tournament Player at the National Christian Homeschool Championship (Springfield, MO) in 2011. She was also named the California Homeschool Sports Most Valuable Player the past two seasons, leading her team to a first place finish in 2011.

"I am very excited that Kristen has chosen to join our La Sierra family,", said coach Robert Castillo. "Her athleticism, among other important attributes, will be a great asset to our program."
