La Sierra University Women's Basketball got off to a quick start against the University of La Verne on Wednesday night and never looked back.The Golden Eagles posted big numbers and came away with a lot of confidence going into the dead period before their season starts in October. Leading the team was Audrey Ramos with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Audrey was dominant inside, but also stepped out and hit some big shots from distance.

Also stepping up was Ashley Baumgaertel with 10 points and 6 rebounds, Natalia Hwathorne with 8 points and 3 steals, and Tierney Arnold with 7 rebounds.

Coach Thorson was pleased that the team worked together and improved in several areas since their last outing. 

Players and coaches are excited to get back together in early October to resume their training for the upcoming season.
