The new multipurpose field at La Sierra University was dedicated Tuesday night, with Dr. Warren Trenchard kicking the first ball and University President Randall Wisby, Student Life Vice President Yami Bazan, Student Life Associate Vice President  Sue Curtis and a host of others in attendance.

With many important people watching, our men's team did not dissappoint.  They continued their winning ways by beating HOPE 1-0 on a goal by Kenny Bonanken, assisted by David Nolan.
Bonanken's perfectly placed finish was just one of the highlights on the night.  Goal keeper Gabriel Esqueda continued to provide seemingly impossible saves.  Late in the first half with LSU up 1-0, HOPE's free kick from 25 yards out was ticketed for an Upper 90 finish, only to be tipped away by the fingertips of Esqueda at the last possible moment.  Late in the second half with HOPE throwing everyone forward to try to equalize, the keeper stopped two point blank sure goals, while tipping away a few more.
