The Gold Eagles Athletic Department and the men's soccer program are happy to announce that Josue Meza has signed a letter of intent to attend La Sierra University and play soccer.

Meza joins a recruiting class that will look to come in and make an immediate impact for the men's soccer program.  He joins the Golden Eagles from Loma Linda Academy, where he played soccer and volleyball.

He was named 2nd Team All League (Ambassador League) his sophomore year and 1st Team All League his junior and senior seasons.  Meza was also named Most Valuable Player by his teammates during his junior and senior year.

Head coach Jesse Olivas had had this to say with regard to the signing of Josue:  "Josue is a talented midfield player with great vision, and great leadership qualities. With continued work we look for Josue to play a vital role in our attack. He's a great kid, very coachable and we look forward to having him here at La Sierra."

Meza is currently undecided on a major, but will start at La Sierra University this coming fall.
