Riverside, Calif. - A night after their comeback fell just short, the Golden Eagles played host to Concordia University (Irvine). In what proved to be a tight back-and-forth affair, Concordia edged out the Golden Eagles for the 77-71 victory.

Concordia jumped out to an early five-point lead on a Katie Ogdon three pointer and a Jade Reed lay-up. The Golden Eagles answered back quickly to erase the lead with the help of a 7-2 run. The score remained tight until Concordia was able to create a little space between them and the Golden Eagles by virtue of a 13-3 run midway through the second half.
Concordia increased their lead to as many as 13 points, before the Golden Eagles made a final push in the remaining minutes to cut the lead to six points on four different occasions, but that was as close as the Golden Eagles would get, with Concordia holding on for 77-71 win.
