San Marcos, Calif. - After dropping both games of Friday's doubleheader at Cal State San Marcos, the Golden Eagles baseball team fell in both games of Sunday's doubleheader, 10-2 and 10-0.
The Golden Eagles struggled to reach base and score runs during the weekend series. In Sunday's losses, La Sierra collected five hits in the first game and were held to just one hit in the second game.
Marquis Kidd led the team by going 2-for-3 in Game 1, driving in both Golden Eagles runs in the game.
Rico Alanis tallied the only hit of the game for the Golden Eagles with a fourth inning single, but that would prove to be all the offense La Sierra was able to muster.
The Golden Eagles gave up 10 runs in each of the four games during the weekend series, losing 10-4 and 10-0 in Friday's doubleheader.
La Sierra will look to snap their losing streak on Friday, when they travel to San Diego Christian College.
