Riverside, Calif. - Head men's soccer coach, Jesse Olivas, has announced yet another member of the 2014 recruiting class.  Joseph Fernandez, a 5'11 midfielder, has signed a letter of intent with La Sierra University.  He is the latest member in a growing list of recruits to sign with the Golden Eagles men's soccer program.

Fernandez will arrive at La Sierra from Grand Terrace High School (Grand Terrace, Calif.) where he finished his senior season with three goals and three assists (nine points) in 12 games played.  He served as team captain and was named his team's MVP, while being named to the All League Team.

In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Fernandez also was named to Grand Terrace's honor roll and was named a Scholar-Athlete.  As a student-athlete at La Sierra University, he will pursue a degree in Pre-Health.
