The Golden Eagles baseball team has announced their first signing to their 2014-15 recruiting class.  Garret Larson, a 5'11 second baseman, signed a letter of intent with La Sierra University.

Larson has been displaying his talents at Beaumont High School (Beaumont, Calif.) for the past four years.  While at Beaumont High School, Garret has been named 2nd Team All League during his junior year and served as his team's captain during his senior year.

Garret will follow in his father's footsteps by playing baseball at the collegiate level.  His father, Bill, played baseball at Cal Poly Pomona, back in the mid 1970's.

Larson has not only excelled on the playing field, but in the classroom as well.  He has been named a scholar athlete during each of his years in high school.  Garret plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration while at La Sierra University.

We would like to welcome Garret to the La Sierra University community and to the Golden Eagles athletic family.
