Baseball coach Gabriel Gamboa has announced another signee to the 2015 recruiting class.  John Uselton V, a 5'11 utility player, has signed a letter of intent with La Sierra University.

Uselton, the oldest of three brothers, will join the Golden Eagles baseball program from Shadow Hills High School (Indio, Calif.).  He has played on the varsity squad all four years of his high school career.  During his high school career he has been named 1st Team All League, he was a "North/South All Star Game" nominee, and he served as his team's captain.

In addition, John has received recognition for his hard work in the classroom.  He recently received the "CIF Baseball Senior Scholar Award", as well as "Royal Purple Honors" from Shadow Hills.

John comes from a baseball family.  He will follow in the footsteps of his father, John Uselton IV, who played baseball collegiately back in the early 1990's.  And his brother is also a member of the Shadow Hills High School baseball team.

As a student at La Sierra University, Uselton will enter as a Pre-Law student.

We would like to welcome John as the newest member to the Golden Eagles athletic family and to the greater La Sierra University community.
