The Golden Eagles women's basketball program is happy to announce the signing of twin sisters, Faith and Tina Fantroy.  The two sisters have signed a letter-of-intent with La Sierra University.

The Fantroy sisters will transfer in to La Sierra University from Cal State LA where they played this past season.  Prior to their time at Cal State LA, Tina and Faith played at Mt. San Jacinto College.

This past season, Tina averaged 7.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, while her sister Faith averaged 2.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.  Faith and Tina each played in 23 games last season, starting in 12 and 6 of those games, respectively.  They were both recognized as Player of the Week on separate occasions last season.

During their time at Mt. San Jacinto College, Faith and Tina were All Conference and All State selections.  Tina was also recognized as the Pacific Coast Conference Most Valuable Player.  Tina Fantroy left MSJC as the leading scorer in school history, both for a single season and career.   Faith Fantroy holds the third place record for career assists at MSJC.

Faith and Tina are following in the footsteps of their older sister, Se'erra Fantroy, who played basketball at the University of Memphis and Doane University.

While finishing out their playing careers at La Sierra University, Faith and Tina Fantroy will look to continue coursework towards their ultimate goal of a degree in Physical Therapy.  We would like to welcome them to La Sierra University and the Golden Eagles athletic family.
