La Sierra gets out the vote ... again

By Jim Alexander on February 16, 2011 6:44 AM

And this time, it seems, men's basketball player DePaul Williams did it personally -- at least, if the comments section of yesterday's poll is any indication.

In any event, Williams narrowly beat out Cal State San Bernardino softball pitcher Cassidy Lee -- by a nine-vote margin -- to give La Sierra its fifth straight Performer of the Week.

Obviously, the La Sierra supporters are paying attention. Where are the rest of you?

Anyway, here's Williams' bio page on the La Sierra website. Congratulations to DePaul and to all of this week's nominees.

And now, this week's school standings (three points for a nomination, two extra points for winning, vote totals and average in parentheses):
