Coach Frank Estell III, grew up in Southern California. He has played organized sports since the age of eight. Although he eventually grew into basketball, he also has competed in, baseball, football, and track. He graduated from La Sierra High School here in Riverside, CA where he played four years of basketball and ran track.

After high school, Coach Estell attended Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated with a BA in Management Information Systems. While there he played basketball and competed in the jumping events in track. In the 1999-00 season his team went 28-7 and made it to the NAIA national tournament. Coach Estell is currently 6^th on Point Loma's top 10 most blocks in a career and 9^th for most blocks in a game.

In 2007 Coach Estell married his wife Pam. They currently live in Corona with their two dogs Lily and Lucy.

This will be Coach Estell's first year working with basketball staff at La Sierra University. He will be coaching the forwards and centers on the fundamentals of post play. He loves the game of basketball and looks forward to learning more about coaching and developing upstanding young men both on and off the court.
