            <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Riverside, CA - &lt;/strong&gt;With the team fighting to qualify for the Association of Independent Institutions conference playoffs, every remaining game is of vital importance.&lt;/p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;The Golden Eagles were a bit slow out of the gate and struggled to find their offensive rhythm.&amp;nbsp; But in the final seven minutes of the first half, La Sierra used good team defense and offensive execution to outscore New Hope by 16 points, taking a 37-25 lead into the half.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Angwin, CA - &lt;/strong&gt;Capping off their busy weekend, the Golden Eagles women's basketball team travelled to Pacific Union College to play their third and final game in as many days.&amp;nbsp; After splitting their first two games on the trip, the Golden Eagles were once again faced with another quick turnaround, playing their second consecutive game with less than 20 hours between the two games.&amp;nbsp; But La Sierra made sure that the start time wouldn't be an issue.&amp;nbsp; They were in complete control of the game and cruised to a 54-41 win over the Pioneers.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;After defeating the 24&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; ranked team in the Nation the Oaks of Menlo College on Thursday night, the Golden Eagles Women&amp;#39;s Basketball team was looking to keep up the momentum as they took on the Keelhaulers of Cal Maritime University on Saturday Night. The Golden Eagles came up on top and defeated the Keelhaulers 70-58.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Golden Eagles carried the momentum from two nights before and took a 5-point lead going into the half. La Sierra never looked back and went on to scored 40 points during the second half.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Golden Eagles shot (22-58) 37.9% from the field compare to the (19-64) 29.7% by the Keelhaulers. The Golden Eagles also out-rebounded the Keelhaulers 45-35 respectively. Brittany Walkers posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Golden Eagles will finish their Northern California trip tomorrow afternoon as they play the Bobcats of UC Merced.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Golden Eagles have won 5 out of their last 6 games.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
