Riverside, CA - Back on November 3, 2012, travelled to La Mirada. It was the Golden Eagles third game of the season and the season opener for Biola. Biola eventually went on to defeat La Sierra 76-42 in that game.

Riverside, CA - With the team fighting to qualify for the Association of Independent Institutions conference playoffs, every remaining game is of vital importance.

The Golden Eagles were a bit slow out of the gate and struggled to find their offensive rhythm. But in the final seven minutes of the first half, La Sierra used good team defense and offensive execution to outscore New Hope by 16 points, taking a 37-25 lead into the half.

Santa Barbara, CA - Playing in their second game of a five-game stretch in ten days to close out the regular season, the Golden Eagles travelled to Santa Barbara, CA, to face the No. 8 Westmont College Warriors (NAIA DI). The Warriors, who are undefeated and in the top spot of the Golden State Athletic Conference standings, were able to avoid the upset by defeating La Sierra 73-59.

Riverside, CA - After playing road games for a month and a half, the women's basketball team returned to their home court. The Golden Eagles played host to Pomona Pitzer College, whom they defeated 60-50 earlier in the month. But the Sagehens ruined the "homecoming" by edging out a 57-55 win over La Sierra.

Angwin, CA - Capping off their busy weekend, the Golden Eagles women's basketball team travelled to Pacific Union College to play their third and final game in as many days. After splitting their first two games on the trip, the Golden Eagles were once again faced with another quick turnaround, playing their second consecutive game with less than 20 hours between the two games. But La Sierra made sure that the start time wouldn't be an issue. They were in complete control of the game and cruised to a 54-41 win over the Pioneers.

Redding, CA – After defeating William Jessup University last night, the Golden Eagles jumped back on the floor less than 24 hours later to face Simpson University. Today's game was the first and only meeting between the two teams this season. As La Sierra joins the Cal Pac Conference next year, the teams will play a home and away schedule.

Rocklin, CA - The women's basketball team opened up a busy weekend, with the first of three straight games, at William Jessup University. The Golden Eagles were looking to even the season series with the Warriors after dropping their first meeting, with a four-point loss, back in early December. La Sierra used a solid performance to secure tonight's victory over William Jessup, 67-60.

Merced, CA - Playing their third and final game of their first tour of Northern California the Golden Eagles were looking to make it a 3-0 trip with an afternoon match-up at UC Merced. After getting off to a slow and sluggish start, the Golden Eagles used a second half surge to pull away for the 50-37 win.

After defeating the 24^th ranked team in the Nation the Oaks of Menlo College on Thursday night, the Golden Eagles Women's Basketball team was looking to keep up the momentum as they took on the Keelhaulers of Cal Maritime University on Saturday Night. The Golden Eagles came up on top and defeated the Keelhaulers 70-58.

The Golden Eagles carried the momentum from two nights before and took a 5-point lead going into the half. La Sierra never looked back and went on to scored 40 points during the second half.

The Golden Eagles shot (22-58) 37.9% from the field compare to the (19-64) 29.7% by the Keelhaulers. The Golden Eagles also out-rebounded the Keelhaulers 45-35 respectively. Brittany Walkers posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles will finish their Northern California trip tomorrow afternoon as they play the Bobcats of UC Merced.

The Golden Eagles have won 5 out of their last 6 games.

Atherton, CA - Playing in their first game since their holiday break, the Golden Eagles women's basketball team played their first of three games on their Northern California trip. The first game was a match-up with the 24^th ranked Oaks of Menlo College. The Golden Eagles jumped right out of the gates for an early 9-0 lead and held on to the lead until the 14:22 mark of the 2^nd half, but were able to grind out a 76-72 upset win over the Oaks.

And after wins over Oakwood University and Pacific Union College, the Golden Eagles were looking to complete the weekend sweep with a victory of Andrews University. La Sierra jumped out to the early lead and never looked back, on their way to a 66-45 victory.
