Lancaster, CA - The La Sierra bats came alive as the team tallied 13 runs on 17 hits in the game.

Freddy Rivas Jr. who had had four hits, scored four runs and had one RBI led the team. Ryan Diaz followed with three hits and three RBI's. Adrian Gardea also tallied three RBI's in the game. The Golden Eagles also had four other players who added two hits in the victory.

San Marcos, CA - The Golden Eagles baseball team returned to No. 11 Cal State San Marcos this afternoon looking to avenge their two losses from Friday afternoon. But Sunday's doubleheader resulted in two losses to the Cougars 7-2 and 8-0.

The doubleheader scheduled for March 22, versus the University of Antelope Valley, has been moved to Sunday, March 24, and will now be played at Antelope Valley.

The Golden Eagles next home game will now be on April 19, when they play host to Bethesda University.

[Baseball] Saints Take Doubleheader Over Golden Eagles

Riverside, CA - The Saints, from Ashford University, won both games of today's doubleheader against the Golden Eagles. The Saints won the first game by a final of 7-5 followed up by a 7-3 win in the second game. Ashford University (Clinton, Iowa) is in southern California this week to play a total of nine contests, which includes today's games at La Sierra.
