Riverside, CA - The Golden Eagles women's softball team held a signing ceremony for their 2013 recruiting class this past Tuesday evening. The softball team welcomed 12 new student-athletes into the program.

Riverside, CA - After dropping two games to Vanguard University this past Friday, the Golden Eagles were looking to rebound against No. 2 Cal State San Marcos this afternoon. But the Cougars proved to be too much to overcome as they defeated La Sierra 8-0 in both contests.

Riverside, CA - The softball team made the short trek over to California Baptist University this evening, looking to get back in the win column. But the Lancers swept the Golden Eagles in the evening doubleheader, 5-2 and 9-2.

Riverside, CA - In town for their southern California swing, the softball team played host to Simpson University this afternoon.

The Golden Eagles were looking to get back in the win column and end a four game losing streak. But La Sierra was unable to end that streak, losing both games by a final of 5-2 and 9-3.

Riverside, CA - After a tough week of final exams, the Golden Eagles softball team hit the field looking to shed some the stress encountered during the last week of the quarter. On this afternoon, La Sierra played host to NCAA Division III Williams College out of Williamstown, Massachusetts. The Ephs, translated to Purple Cows, were completing their west coast swing with today's doubleheader at La Sierra.

Riverside, CA - Playing host to No. 5 Concordia University, the Golden Eagles fell short in both games of today's doubleheader. The first game was a 5-0 loss while Concordia dominated in the second game, winning 10-1 in five innings.

San Marcos, CA - After splitting the first two games at the Cougar Clash Tournament this weekend, the Golden Eagles lost the final two games. La Sierra dropped Game 1 to Arizona Christian, 7-4, and lost their second game to the host school Cal State San Marcos, 8-2.

[Softball] Biola Takes Two From La Sierra

Riverside, CA - Biola swept La Sierra in the afternoon doubleheader. Biola won Game 1 by a final of 6-1 and controlled Game 2, winning 13-2 in six innings.

In Game 1 the Golden Eagles were held scoreless for the first six innings before scoring their lone run of the game in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI single by Violet McGowen.

San Marco, CA - Traveling to No. 1 Cal State San Marcos this afternoon, the Golden Eagles had the tough task of facing the top ranked team in the nation. Throughout the afternoon doubleheader, San Marcos displayed why they are considered one of the best teams in the nation, defeating La Sierra in both games.
